ifilm to offer ‘The Green Ring’

ifilm has set to serve ‘The Green Ring’ series starting from Tuesday evening.

Directed by celebrated Iranian filmmaker Ebrahim Hatamikia, the first episode for the show will hit the air at 18:00 GMT on Tuesday evening. The rest of the episodes will follow the days after at the same announced time. Each part will also be repeated three times the next day at 00:00, 09:00 and 15:00 all GMT times.

“Golbahar is struggling to become a doctor in a new city with no support of any kind. But things are about to get much more complicated. She is the only one who can see Hassan, a brain dead patient’s soul who is not sure if he wants his heart donated. She is willing to help him”, reads a brief synopsis for the show.

Atash Taqipour, Mohammad Hatami, Hamid Farrokhnejad, Sima Tirandaz and Homeyra Riazi are among the cast members of the series.

‘The Green Ring’ will be replacing ‘The Long Path’ drama directed by Reza Karimi.
